This active 38-year-old mom was bothered by the fullness of her abdomen and pain caused by a small umbilical hernia. She scheduled a consultation with one of our Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons at Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery. She was deemed an appropriate candidate for a tummy tuck with bilateral flank liposuction. During the patient’s tummy tuck with liposuction surgery, the umbilical hernia was repaired as a combination procedure with a general surgeon, enabling her to have a single recovery period. Post-surgery, she presents with excellent abdominal contour and is extremely happy with her results.
