A2 Center Day of Surgery Instructions
We want your surgical day to feel smooth, organized, and stress-free. Knowing what to expect can help you arrive feeling confident and prepared.
Arrival & Parking
Please park in the back parking lot of the building. From there, you will walk up the ramp and enter through the doors of A2 Center. Our team will be ready to welcome you.
Check-In
Upon arrival, you’ll check in at the front desk and be greeted by our nurse manager or a member of our surgical team. After confirming your information, you’ll be escorted to the pre-operative area.
Pre-Operative Preparation
Once you are comfortably settled in your pre-op room, we will guide you through the next steps. This includes:
- Changing into a surgical garment
- Using the restroom if needed
- Completing any final testing or preparations
- Reviewing your procedure and answering any last-minute questions
You’ll be connected to monitors, and you will meet the clinical team who will be caring for you throughout your procedure. Our goal is to make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and supported before heading into surgery.
After Your Procedure
Following surgery, you will recover in our post-operative area under close supervision. Once you are ready to go home, your nurse will contact your designated driver with instructions on where to meet you.
For privacy and convenience, you will be escorted by wheelchair through the rear exit of the building, under the blue awning.
